Parties
This agreement is between [Bolagsnamn AB], company registration number [Org.nr], [Adress] ("we") and the business that installs Storeassist in its Shopify store ("you"). Whoever accepts these terms confirms they may enter into agreements for the business.
Storeassist is a service for businesses, so consumer protection laws do not apply to this agreement.
The service
Storeassist connects your Shopify store to Fortnox or Visma eEkonomi and brings together invoicing, bookkeeping, purchasing, stock, stocktakes, labels, reports, forecasts, B2B storefronts and a customer club. It runs inside Shopify, on app.storeassist.io and in the mobile app.
We develop the service continuously and may change or remove features. If we remove a feature you use, we tell you at least 30 days in advance.
Accounts and access
- You decide who in your business gets an account and which role it has: owner, admin or staff.
- You are responsible for removing access for people who leave and for keeping sign-in details secret.
- Owners and admins must use two-step verification.
- If you suspect someone unauthorised has reached your account, sign out all devices in the app and email us right away.
Trial and fees
You can try Storeassist free for 7 days. After that, the fees on the app's Shopify App Store listing apply, or those in a separate agreement with us. We announce price changes at least 30 days in advance.
Your responsibilities
- You use the service lawfully and under these terms, and do not try to reach others' data or disrupt the service.
- You are responsible for your bookkeeping, VAT and taxes. Storeassist creates invoices and vouchers from your settings, and you check that they are correct.
- You are the controller for data about your customers, B2B buyers and suppliers. You inform them about the processing and have a legal basis, such as consent for customer club marketing.
- You export any bookkeeping evidence the law requires you to keep before you uninstall the app.
Other companies' services
Storeassist uses Shopify and, if you connect them, Fortnox and Visma eEkonomi. Their own terms apply between you and them. We are not responsible for their availability or for changes to their interfaces, but we adapt Storeassist as soon as we can.
Your data and personal data
The data in your store is yours. We use it only to provide the service to you.
When we process personal data for you, our Data Processing Agreement applies. It is part of these terms and is accepted together with them. The privacy policy explains what data we process, why and for how long.
Operation and support
We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not promise a specific availability. Planned maintenance happens at night where possible. We take an encrypted backup of the database every night. Support is available at [kontakt@storeassist.io].
Intellectual property
Storeassist, including its code, design and brand, belongs to us. You may use the service for your business during the agreement. You may not copy, resell or decompile it.
Confidentiality
Each party keeps the other's non-public information confidential during the agreement and for three years after it ends. This does not apply to information a party must disclose by law.
Limitation of liability
Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the 12 months before the damage. We are not liable for indirect damage, such as lost profit, lost revenue or lost data that could have been recreated.
These limits do not apply to intent or gross negligence, or where mandatory law, such as the GDPR, says otherwise.
Term and termination
The agreement runs from when you install the app until you uninstall it. You can uninstall at any time. We may end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or immediately if you materially breach these terms.
When you uninstall, we immediately delete sessions and access keys. Shopify sends shop/redact 48 hours later, and we then delete all of the store's data. Backups are overwritten within 14 days.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms or the Data Processing Agreement, we email the store owner at least 30 days before the change takes effect and may ask you to accept the new version in the app. If you don't accept the change, you can uninstall the app before it takes effect.
Governing law and disputes
Swedish law governs this agreement. Disputes are settled by the Swedish general courts, with Stockholm District Court as the first instance.
